National Park Krka

National Park Krka
If you loved Plitvice Lakes than you will definitely like National Park Krka, named after the river Krka.
Skradinski Buk and Roški Waterfall are the two main waterfalls inside the park and they should be on your priority list. Also, inside the park there is the island of Visovac, today home to the Roman Catholic Visovac Monastery (the park also includes the Eastern Orthodox Monastery Krka founded in 1345.).

When visiting a national park, definitely try to make time to visit some of the rural households located on Miljevci area (Miljevci plateau includes seven villages). Better yet, organize a visit to a national park so that you can spend the night in one of the rural households; unpolluted nature, clean air, excellent local food and the friendly and helpful people.
